Drone-Delivered Football Highlights Innovation at Homecoming

When the ×ÔοÊÓÆµ Golden Flashes football team took the field on Saturday, Oct. 11, fans at Dix Stadium looked to the sky as a ×ÔοÊÓÆµ Alta X drone released the official game ball before kickoff. The successful drop marked a first for ×ÔοÊÓÆµ and a milestone for the College of Aeronautics and Engineering.

David E. Silva participated in The John and Fonda Elliot Design Innovation Faculty Fellows Program, a six-week intensive fellowship with the Design Innovation Initiative that ran through July 11th.
